A shipment of dangerous grapes and mangoes from China has been identified in Krasnoyarsk.

A batch of pest-infected fruits from China has been identified again in Krasnoyarsk. We are talking about 1.6 tons of mango and grapes with Comstock's chervets, as well as 5 tons of apples with peach fruit.

The cargo was located at the Agroterminal-Customs temporary storage warehouse, the press service of the regional Rosselkhoznadzor administration reports. Quarantine pests were discovered by employees of the department during a product inspection.

By the decision of the owner, all fruits were decontaminated with drugs that are safe for human health. The person who imported dangerous products was warned against violating mandatory requirements.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the Comstock worm and the peach moth are safe for humans, but can destroy up to 80% of the crop yield.
