United Russia will check the growth of tariffs for public transport

The United Russia Party intends to check the validity of the increase in the cost of public transport in the Russian regions. This was announced on July 21 by a member of the General Council of the party, Hero of Russia Evgeny Poddubny.

"The issue of preventing unjustified price increases will also be included in the National Program of United Russia," Poddubny is quoted as saying on the party's website.

He noted that it is necessary to establish whether the increase in tariffs is due to objective economic reasons or whether carriers are using the fuel supply situation to unreasonably raise prices. The party's activists will join in this work, who will monitor the situation on the ground.
