Accused of blowing up Nord Streams confessed to working for the SBU
Ukrainian Sergey Kuznetsov, accused of involvement in the bombing of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream — 2 gas pipelines, admitted that at the time of the sabotage he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and performed the tasks of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). On July 2, the German Prosecutor General's Office confirmed the charges brought against Kuznetsov the day before in the Nord Stream case. On the same day, the co-chairman of the German Alternative for Germany party, Tino Cavalla, called on Berlin to stop providing military support to Kiev amid the findings of this sabotage. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov later recommended that the situation be taken into account when deciding on Ukraine's accession to the European Union. On July 9, Kiev refused to admit its involvement in the bombing of the Nord Stream pipeline.
