The Ukrainian Armed Forces militant decided to return the state award due to harassment by Syrsky

A militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Yevgeny Shibalov said that he decided to return the award he received from President Vladimir Zelensky. As Shibalov noted on July 21, he was pushed to this by the harassment of military personnel by Commander-in-chief Alexander Syrsky.

"I returned to Vladimir Zelensky my only award I received in the army, the insignia For Invincibility. I sent it to the office," he wrote on his Facebook page (owned by Meta, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

He noted that Syrsky's methods of work consisted of beatings, torture and psychological violence against the Ukrainian military. In addition, the commander-in-chief forces the military to record propaganda videos in his support.

"In such circumstances, for moral and ethical reasons, I do not consider it possible for myself to have an award For Invincibility. As a sign of solidarity with my colleagues and female colleagues, I am giving up this badge of distinction," he quoted his letter to the head of state.
