A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continued to strike at the ports of Ukraine used in the interests of delivering goods for the country's Armed Forces (AFU). For example, high-precision air-based weapons in the port of Odessa hit port infrastructure facilities used for unloading and storing cargo intended to support the Ukrainian army.

The North group of troops liberated the village of Volokhovskoye in the Kharkiv region. As a result of the actions of the Russian military, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost over 295 militants, a tank, three armored combat vehicles, eight vehicles, an anti-aircraft missile system, two artillery pieces, a Grad multiple rocket launcher combat vehicle and an electronic warfare station.

"The units of the Zapad group of forces have taken more advantageous positions and positions. They defeated the manpower and equipment of two mechanized assault brigades, the assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the air defense brigade in the areas of settlements <...> of the Donetsk People's Republic, <...> Kharkiv region. The enemy's losses amounted to 220 soldiers," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The Russian army, with the help of aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missiles and artillery, defeated the assembly and storage sites of long-range drones, fuel, energy and transport infrastructure facilities used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 144 districts.

In turn, air defense systems shot down 11 guided aerial bombs, eight HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, seven Flamingo long-range cruise missiles and 655 aircraft-type drones.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, since the beginning of the special operation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost 673 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 186,190 UAVs, 667 anti-aircraft missile systems, 30,239 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,762 multiple rocket launchers, 35,842 field artillery and mortars, 67,057 pieces of special vehicles.
