A tree crushed a man to death during a hurricane in the Urals

The Sverdlovsk region was hit by a hurricane. In one of the districts, wires were cut in five settlements, about 30 trees fell, and there is one dead person.

According to the <url> news agency, with reference to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Sverdlovsk region, rains, thunderstorms and wind gusts up to 18 m/s caused the most damage to the Zarechny municipal district.

A tree fell on a 74-year-old pensioner. He died from his injuries.

Emergency recovery work has already been completed, and the power supply has been restored. 19 people and six pieces of equipment were involved in the elimination of the consequences of bad weather.

At the end of May, a construction crane collapsed in the Tyumen region during a hurricane. There is a deceased, the press service of the regional prosecutor's office reported. The incident occurred at a construction site in the village of Patrusheva. A strong wind blew down the tower crane, as a result of which the crane operator was injured. The man later died in hospital from his injuries.
