The driver of a Lada car ran over three pedestrians crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing in Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Territory. This was reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate on Monday, July 20.

The accident occurred on Kalinin Street. According to the agency, an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old girl, as well as a seven-year-old girl, were injured in the accident.

"All three pedestrians with injuries were taken to the department of the city hospital," RT quoted the message as saying.

The car was driven by a 25-year-old resident of the Krasnodar Territory. He had not previously been brought to administrative responsibility for traffic violations, and was sober at the time of the accident, the police said.
