In the Rostov region, due to smoke after a fire in a wheat field, a massive car accident occurred on the 12th km of the R-280 Novorossiya highway. This was announced on July 20 by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the region.

"According to preliminary data, an accident involving 12 cars, including two trucks and 10 cars, occurred in the direction of the city of Rostov-on-Don," the inspectors said on the Telegram channel.

It is known that a KamAZ truck driver born in 1993 was injured in an accident. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region added that the fire was recorded in a wheat field in the Myasnikovsky district, firefighters extinguished it. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the police.
