Three townhouses burned down in the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk as a result of an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on July 20 by Izvestia correspondent Evgeny Bykovsky.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk using aircraft-type attack UAVs. The blow landed on <...> townhouses," Bykovsky said.
According to the correspondent, there were no people inside the living quarters at the time of the impact. According to Roman Kamensky, deputy head of the fire extinguishing service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the DPR, 45 personnel and 11 pieces of equipment were involved in the elimination of the consequences of the fire.
It is specified that extinguishing was complicated by the construction of houses. A large fire area and many wooden elements contributed to the rapid spread of the fire.
On the same day, acting Governor of the Belgorod region Alexander Shuvaev reported that five people were killed as a result of a drone strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a passenger bus in Shebekino. The victims of the attack were four women and a child.
