The International Football Federation (FIFA) will conduct an investigation into the aggressive behavior of representatives of the national team of Argentina after the end of the final match of the World Cup. This was announced on July 20 by Sky Sports TV channel.

"FIFA intends to conduct an investigation into the behavior of the Argentine national team after the final whistle of the World Cup final," the statement said.

According to the newspaper, the disciplinary proceedings are related to a series of incidents that occurred immediately after the final whistle. Argentina defender Leandro Paredes received a red card after the end of the match for aggressive behavior. According to the TV channel, the athlete knocked down Spaniard Eric Garcia, and when the player tried to get up, he grabbed him by the neck. Paredes later attacked Gavi, who replaced him, striking him twice in the face.

Another player of the Argentina national team, Nahuel Molina, tried to knock down Manchester City midfielder Rodri, hitting him with his elbow while celebrating the victory.
