The Lgov railway station in the Kursk region was attacked by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as a result of which four employees were injured. This was announced by Governor Alexander Khinshtein on July 20.
Currently, the station is temporarily closed for transportation due to the imposed regime of the counter-terrorism operation (CTO).
"Unfortunately, four men were injured — they are employees of the railway. Three have minor injuries, and the fourth was taken to the hospital with shrapnel wounds," Khinstein said on his Telegram channel.
The governor added that doctors are helping the wounded. Also, according to him, at the time of the impact, a car of the municipal administration drove up to the station building. The drone strike damaged the car, there were no casualties.
The day before, Khinstein reported an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) Armed forces attacked four apartment buildings in Kursk, as a result of which a woman was injured. The victim received an acubarotrauma, she received medical care. The governor noted that the residents of the houses had been evacuated.
