In Moscow, at the Troekurovsky cemetery, a farewell ceremony was held for the director of the KVN television program Svetlana Maslyakova, the widow of the former program director Alexander Maslyakov. This was reported on July 20 by TASS with reference to the artist's entourage.
According to the agency's interlocutor, the farewell, according to the decision of the relatives, was held in a closed format.
"Only for loved ones. <...> Svetlana Anatolyevna was buried there, on Troekurovsky," the source said.
Maslyakova died at the age of 79 on July 17. The official KVN channel noted that she broke stereotypes and always set an example for novice players. Her son, Alexander Maslyakov, named a long-term illness as the cause of the death of his mother, who had been working in the program since 1986. The director has been married to Alexander Maslyakov since 1971, who died on September 8, 2024 at the age of 83.
