A civilian was killed in a drone explosion in the Belgorod region
A civilian was killed as a result of the detonation of an FPV drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of an enterprise in the Belgorod region. This was announced on July 20 at the operational headquarters of the region.
"In the village of Oktyabrsky, Belgorod region, an FPV drone detonated at an enterprise. Five people were taken to the Oktyabrskaya district hospital. One of them was in extremely serious condition. Despite the efforts of the doctors, it was not possible to save him. We express our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased," Operstab wrote on his Telegram channel.
Four victims received multiple shrapnel wounds to various parts of their bodies. After first aid is provided, the wounded will be transported to medical institutions in Belgorod. Damage to the glazing of the building was recorded at the scene, as well as fragments of a truck and two cars.
Other drone attacks have been recorded in the Belgorod region. Another drone struck a social facility, damaging windows and the facade of the building. In the Grayvoron district, an explosion shattered the windows of two private houses, and the detonation of another FPV drone led to a power line outage.
In the Shebeki district, the target of the attack was a car, the vehicle was damaged. In the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, windows were broken in one private house, and a fence was cut in another. In addition, the roof was pierced at a local enterprise as a result of the impact.
On the eve of the Belgorod region, two people were injured by an attack by Ukrainian drones. It is noted that the drone struck a trade facility in the village of Fedchevka, Ivnyansky district, as a result of which a man and a woman were injured.
