The number of victims of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on the Moscow region has increased to 10 people.

As a result of an attack by drones (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) injured 10 people in the Moscow region, including one child. This was announced on July 20 by the governor of the region Andrey Vorobyov.

"According to updated information, as a result of the UAV attack in the Moscow region, 10 people were injured, including one child," he wrote on his channel in the Maks messenger.

Seven people were injured in Domodedovo. A 27-year-old man with a shin splinter wound refused to be hospitalized. Six more people, including three Chinese citizens, were taken to Domodedovo Hospital.

According to Vorobyov, an elderly 74-year-old man was diagnosed with multiple shrapnel wounds and is being prepared for transfer to a medical center in Moscow. Another 53—year-old victim suffered an open hip fracture, while a 26-year-old man suffered a lower leg injury. Three hospitalized people were diagnosed with shrapnel wounds.

In Odintsovo city district, an 11-year-old girl has an acute stress reaction. Two women were injured in Podolsk. A 66-year-old patient with facial abrasions and a hematoma was treated at the scene. Another 38-year-old woman refused to be hospitalized. Emergency services continue to work at the scene of the incidents, Vorobyov assured. All the victims will receive the necessary assistance.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces used the tactics of "overloading" the Russian air defense and pursued primarily media goals, experts believe.

Earlier in the day, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that over 400 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were flying in the direction of the capital, most of which were neutralized on long—range approaches, and another 85 on approach to the city. Later, Vorobyov reported damage in Odintsovo, Podolsk and the surrounding area. Six people were hospitalized in Domodedovo, and a fire broke out in the Yuzhnye Vorota industrial park.
