The State Duma told about the pension payment schedule in August

In August, pension payments in Russia will be made according to the usual schedule, if the payment date falls on a day off — on the last working day. Ekaterina Stenyakina, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, told about this on July 20.

"There are no federal holidays in August, so pensions will be paid according to the usual schedule...> If the set date falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the pension must be transferred in advance — on the last working day before the weekend," she explained in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to Stenyakina, the dates depend on the region, the bank and the method of receiving money. It is noted that recipients of pensions through the Russian Post will be served according to the schedule of the local branch. If the date coincides with the weekend, delivery will take place the day before, so you can find out the exact date of receipt of funds at your branch.

Pensioners who completed their work in August will receive a pension from September, taking into account all indexations.

On July 19, Evgeny Masharov, a member of the commission of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation for public control and handling of citizens' appeals, recalled that on Saturday, August 1, the Social Fund of Russia will conduct an annual recalculation of old-age insurance pensions for working pensioners, taking into account contributions for 2025. He noted that the adjustment of payments will take place automatically.
