The pension of civil servants has increased by 16.5 thousand rubles in five years
The average pension provision for federal government civil servants in Russia has increased by more than 16.5 thousand rubles over the past five years. This was confirmed on July 20 by data from the Social Fund of the Russian Federation, statistics studied by TASS.
In April 2021, the average pension for civil servants was about 22,867 rubles. By April 2026, this figure had grown to 39,388 rubles.
Thus, the increase in five years amounted to 16,521 rubles.
On July 20, Yaroslav Nilov, head of the Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, and Dmitry Gusev from the Fair Russia party proposed a bill according to which the periods of participation in a special military operation would be included in the length of state and municipal service. According to Gusev, the experience, discipline, responsibility and willingness to serve the country that the participants in the operation have acquired should be applied.
