Doctors assess the condition of patients as moderate in severity. According to preliminary information, the cause of the massive disease was the causative agent of salmonellosis, which was found in food products that had undergone culinary processing directly at the recreation center.

"From July 13 to July 17, 53 patients were hospitalized in 10 hospitals in the region, the rest are being treated on an outpatient basis," the ministry said in a statement on VKontakte.
