On July 18, Acting UN Deputy Secretary General for Counterterrorism, Alexander Zuev, praised Russia's cooperation with the World Organization's Counterterrorism Directorate (CTU).

"Currently, these are the four main areas in which we cooperate with the Russian Federation. First, preventing terrorists from obtaining and using weapons," he said in an interview with TASS.
