He noted that the West is trying to foment conflicts, using for this purpose, among other things, the capabilities of the Ukrainian regime.

"He, in turn, is willing to do this, thereby increasing, as it seems to him, his political weight and relevance in the eyes of Western partners and patrons. This proves once again that Ukraine is not an independent subject of the political game in the international arena, but performs special and sometimes very specific functions for which the Ukrainian regime is contracted by NATO countries," Novikov said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .
