Underground garbage collection system to be built in Murmansk

An Ecolift deep-seated garbage collection system will appear in Murmansk. It will be installed next to the Museum of local lore.

The design looks like ordinary urns, while the waste collection containers will be located underground.

According to the head of the city, Ivan Lebedev, quoted by Bi-Port news agency, the system will be installed with an offset in order to preserve parking lots and underground utilities.

Closed container platforms will appear in the city. One of them has already been installed on Karl Marx Street. A total of 70 structures are planned to be installed.

Earlier it was reported that in Murmansk in October they plan to put into operation a new swimming pool, which is currently being built in the residential area of Roslyakovo. The construction is carried out using modular technology, which involves the construction of an object from pre-prepared block modules. Workers assemble the structures into a single whole right on the spot.
