A man in the Leningrad region spent more than a day in a hollow tree

A resident of the Leningrad region spent more than a day in a hollow tree at a height of 4 m. This was announced on July 17 by the Committee for Law and Order and Security in the region.

In the morning, the emergency services received an appeal from a man born in 1991 in the city of Luga, after which the fire brigade went to emergency rescue operations.

"It turned out that the man fell into a maple hollow about 2 m deep at a height of about 4 m. He stayed there for more than a day, unable to get out on his own," the agency wrote on the Telegram channel.

To rescue the victim, rescuers had to cut down some branches and stretch a rope ladder. After that, the man was rescued from the hollow. The committee did not give any reasons why he ended up in the hollow.
