128 all-season sports grounds of a new format will be created in Moscow

128 new year-round sports grounds will be created in Moscow. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his channel in Maks.

According to the mayor, new facilities will appear in all administrative districts of the capital and will be used throughout the year. In winter, they will operate as ice rinks with warm locker rooms, and in summer as playgrounds for volleyball, basketball and other team sports.

"We are currently working on 23 addresses. 11 such sports grounds have already been opened. One of them is located in a park near the Holy Lake in the Kosino-Ukhtomsky district on the site of an outdated sports zone," Sobyanin wrote.

The mayor stressed that social infrastructure has been actively developing in the Kosino-Ukhtomsky district in recent years. Polyclinics have been modernized here, new sports facilities have been built, a park and recreation areas have been improved, and the road network has been improved.

This year, the district plans to complete the construction of a school with a kindergarten on Saltykovskaya Street. In addition, the modernization of the Albatros, Helios and Kosino sports complexes continues, as well as the construction of a sports base with a sports and recreation complex.

Separately, Sobyanin noted the development of the Rudnevo Industrial Park, which, according to him, has turned from a depressed territory into one of the key centers of the new Moscow industry in a few years.
