The flood situation in the Tyumen region remains favorable, despite the fact that prolonged precipitation and thunderstorms have engulfed the region. This was reported to TASS by the regional government on July 16.

"It is safe to say that the floodplains of the Ishim, Tobol and Irtysh rivers have maintained a favorable assessment of the flood period this year," the authorities said.

It is specified that according to forecasts of meteorologists, the current water level in the Pyshma, Tavda and Tura rivers exceeds the usual values according to long-term observations as of the current date, however, such a rise is not dangerous. The regional authorities assess the hydrological situation on a daily basis.

He added that regional authorities and emergency departments are involved in the necessary procedures. A day earlier, a municipal emergency mode was introduced in the city of Irbit, Sverdlovsk region.
