As a result of a series of attacks by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on the Gaza Strip, five people were killed in different areas of the Palestinian enclave. This was reported on July 16 by the Reuters news agency, citing local health officials.
"As a result of Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip <...>, at least five Palestinians were killed," the publication says.
One of the Israeli Air Force airstrikes hit the Tuffah area in the north of the enclave, where two people were killed. Another person was killed in a strike on the eastern suburbs of Gaza City.
In addition, local medics reported targeted attacks on a refugee camp in western Gaza and on a car in the town of Khan Yunis. Two more people died from these attacks, the sources said.
The Reuters news agency reported on June 2 that three people were killed in an IDF strike on the Gaza Strip. At the same time, the Israel Defense Forces press service issued a statement on its Telegram channel announcing the elimination in Gaza of "five militants who have been preparing terrorist actions" against the Israeli army in recent days.
