- To the Radar application.NF" added a feature to combat fuel speculation
The Popular Front has updated the Radar mobile application.NF", adding functionality to the main page to combat fuel speculation. As the organization reported on Thursday, July 16, users can now report cases of suspiciously large volumes of gasoline — from 500 liters or more.
Reports began to spread in the media and social networks about situations where thousands of liters of gasoline were poured into barrels. After that, fuel ran out at gas stations, and buyers resold it at a price of 200-300 rubles per liter. Using the new "Refilling gasoline" button, citizens can specify the address of the gas station and the state license plates of cars participating in such schemes. The Popular Front will send the collected information to law enforcement agencies and monitor the course of the proceedings.
"After launching a new feature in the Radar app.NF" drivers will be able to participate in preventing fuel speculation. In order for the "Refilling gasoline" button to appear, you need to update the application," said the head of the Radar application development project.SF" Mikhail Kamyshev.
On July 14, it was reported that the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) issued warnings to 14 participants in the fuel market following monitoring of gasoline and diesel fuel prices in the regions.
