The body of a three-year-old girl who left a playground and drowned in a swamp has been found in the Kolpinsky district of St. Petersburg. This was announced on July 16 by a source of Izvestia.
According to the source, a family with two children flew from Kazan to St. Petersburg on June 25. On the evening of July 15, the parents went to the store, leaving the children on the playground with an adult they knew. The man and the eldest child got distracted and lost sight of the girl. The boy ran to his parents for help.
"The child's body was found without signs of life in a swampy area," the Main Investigation Department (GSU) of the Investigative Committee of Russia for St. Petersburg points out in the "Max".
The ministry noted that a criminal case had been opened into the incident under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence"). Upon examination of the body, no signs of violent death were found. Forensic examinations have been appointed, and a legal assessment will be given to the parents' actions.
On July 5, the body of a five-year-old girl who disappeared with her mother was found on a railway embankment in Achinsk in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The body had been lying on the street for a long time and showed signs of putrefactive changes. The mother of the girl killed in Achinsk confessed to the crime on July 8.
