In Yaroslavl, traffic was blocked at the exit from the city towards Moscow due to an attack by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was announced on July 16 by the governor of the region Mikhail Evraev.

"Our region is under enemy attack by Ukrainian UAVs. In order to ensure safety, traffic has been blocked at the exit from Yaroslavl towards Moscow from the intersection of Moskovsky Prospekt with South-Western Okruzhnaya," the message in the Maks messenger says.

It is noted that residents and guests of the city were urged to refrain from traveling in the specified direction and choose alternative routes. Units of the Ministry of Defense and law enforcement agencies continue to ensure security. In addition, there is an "Unmanned danger" signal in the region.

On July 15, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that 155 Ukrainian drones had been shot down over the regions and the Sea of Azov during the day. It was noted that the drones were shot down over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Orel, Rostov, Tula regions, Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Crimea and the Sea of Azov.
