Vucic declared Serbia's support for Ukraine's sovereignty
Serbia supports Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. This was stated on July 15 by Serbian leader Alexander Vucic at the Ukraine–Southeastern Europe summit.
"We support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine and are sincerely grateful to Ukraine for doing the same to us," the Interfax-Ukraine news agency quoted him as saying.
He also added that Belgrade plans to step up its participation in the restoration of one of the Ukrainian cities. Vucic noted that Serbia will also continue to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
The Serbian newspaper Politika reported on July 15 that Vucic had not signed the anti-Russian final declaration of the fifth summit of Ukraine and the countries of Southeastern Europe. The publication noted that Serbia thus remained the only country participating in the meeting that did not support the declaration.
