The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) killed the chief engineer of the Zaporizhia NPP, Alexander Yakovlev, who prevented the radiation threat from hanging over Russia, Ukraine, Europe and the whole world. This was announced on July 15 by the mayor of Energodar Maxim Pukhov.

The governor of the Zaporizhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying their best to disrupt the work of the NPP and provoke people to leave their jobs.
