Police in Ukraine have opened a case into the beating of a woman by a shopping mall employee.

A criminal case has been opened in Lviv over the beating of a woman by an employee of the territorial recruitment center. This was reported on July 15 on the website of the regional police department.

"A 26-year-old woman received minor injuries during a conflict with a warning group of the Shopping Center. The event took place on July 14 <...> on Kulisha Street," the publication says.

A criminal case has been opened into the incident, related to intentional minor bodily injury. The department added that the perpetrator could face a fine of up to 200 hours of community service or correctional labor for up to a year.

The Ukrainian edition of "Country.On July 1, UA reported that employees of the shopping mall opened fire with firearms in the area of the 7th Kilometer market in the suburbs of Odessa. As a result of the incident, one person was injured.
