Moscow has created the largest library of cognitive exercises

The Moscow Longevity Project has expanded its program to preserve cognitive health. Anastasia Rakova, Moscow's Deputy Mayor for Social Development, announced this on Wednesday, July 15.

According to her, the number of simulators for the development of memory, attention and thinking has more than tripled, as well as updated courses on stress reduction and emotion management.

The program, implemented jointly with the FMBA of Russia, has been in operation for more than a year, and more than 60,000 Muscovites have participated in it, Moscow 24 reports. She noted that after the update, the world's largest library of tasks for the development of cognitive abilities appeared in the program. According to the results of the classes, more than 90% of the participants improved their memory, attention and speed of thinking, and 80.5% reduced their stress levels, IA Regnum writes.

The program includes two directions. The first is the updated Brain Training course on the BrainApps platform, where the number of exercises has been increased from 30 to 100. Before the start of classes, participants undergo diagnostics, after which an individual program for the development of memory, attention and thinking is formed for each, the website writes kp.ru .

The second direction is the Emotional Balance course, which consists of 10 classes using neural equipment. The device analyzes brain activity and selects a personalized workout scenario, helping to reduce anxiety, improve sleep and emotional state. After completing the main course, participants can take an additional cycle of classes to consolidate the result, the Moscow City News Agency reports.

Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said on July 9 that the brain is a key organ that affects human life expectancy. The Minister also noted that lifestyle remains one of the main factors determining health and life expectancy.
