In six months, the demand for new crossovers and SUVs increased by 24%
Demand for new crossovers and SUVs increased by 23.9% in January—June, and the average price of a car in this segment was 3.8 million rubles. This was reported to Izvestia on July 16 by Avito Avto.
Haval brand cars became the most popular crossovers and SUVs on the Avito platform: they accounted for 14.2% of the audience's attention. Tenet (13.1%), Lada (8.4%), Geely (5.7%) and Exeed (4.6%) are also among the top five brands. Among the specific models, the top three bestsellers are the Tenet T7 with an average price of 2.9 million rubles, Haval Jolion (2.6 million rubles) and Tenet T4 (2.4 million rubles). The top 10 also includes Lada Niva Travel (1.6 million rubles), Lada Niva Legend (1.2 million rubles), Haval M6 (2.2 million rubles), Exeed RX (5 million rubles), Evolve i-Space (3.7 million rubles), Omoda C5 (2.7 million rubles) and Geely Monjaro (4.9 million rubles).
Exeed has become the leader among the brands in terms of dynamics: demand for the brand's cars has more than tripled. This is followed by Hongqi (three-fold increase in demand), Belgee (two-fold increase), GAC (+66.6%) and Jaecoo (+47.4%).
Among individual models, the Exeed RX showed the greatest growth: demand for this model increased almost fivefold. Next are the Chinese Hongqi HS3 (the indicator increased 3.2 times) and the Belarusian Belgee X70 (2.4 times). The top ten models with the highest demand growth also included Geely Atlas (+49.8%), Solaris HC (+42.1%), Geely Monjaro (+41.4%), Lada Niva Travel (+36.4%), Haval M6 (+34.7%), Chery Tiggo 9 (+32.3%) and Changan Uni-S (+17.3%).
Kaliningrad Avtotor plant launched a welding line for the production of crossovers of the Chinese brand SWM on July 1. Now the company has switched to the production of machines of this brand using full-cycle technology, which includes welding, painting and assembly.
