Lenin's Mausoleum will be closed to visitors on July 18.

Visitors to the mausoleum of Vladimir Lenin will not be allowed on July 18. The Press and Public Relations Department of the Federal Security Service (FSO) of the Russian Federation announced this on Wednesday, July 15.

"On July 18, 2026, admission of visitors to the Lenin Mausoleum <...> it will not be implemented," the Moscow City News agency quotes the message.

On the same day, visitors will not be allowed to visit the necropolis at the Kremlin Wall. The reasons for the time restrictions are not mentioned, Moscow 24 clarifies.

Lenin's Mausoleum on Red Square was also closed to the public from April 23 to May 17 in connection with preparations for Victory Day celebrations. 360.ru .
