The Russian Foreign Ministry called the deployment of troops of the "coalition of the willing" in Ukraine unacceptable.

The deployment of military contingents of the countries of the "coalition of the willing" in Ukraine is unacceptable to Russia and will be considered as legitimate military objectives. This was announced on July 15 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

She noted that after the ceasefire came into force, the intention to provide the Kiev regime with political and legally binding security guarantees was confirmed. According to her, plans for the deployment of such forces, which will be deployed far from the front line, are ready, and in the coming months, appropriate exercises will be held in European countries bordering Ukraine.

"The deployment of any military contingents from the countries of the so-called "coalition of the willing" in Ukraine is unacceptable for our country. This will de facto mean foreign intervention and an increase in threats to Russia's security. Such units will be considered as legitimate military targets," Zakharova said at a briefing.

She also noted that the statement does not condemn those who use terrorist methods against civilians.

While Kiev is talking about its own production, allies are lining up for access to new technologies and defense capabilities.

Nine European countries, including members of the Coalition of the Willing, agreed on July 13 to create an association with Ukraine to counter ballistic missile attacks. The members of the new coalition intend to combine defense industry bases, research and experience to create a joint missile defense capability in Europe.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on the same day that Russia would closely monitor the summit of the countries that make up the "coalition of the willing." According to him, the actions of the states participating in the meeting are hostile towards Russia.
