Trump reiterated Russia's readiness for a peace agreement on Ukraine
Russia continues to resolve the conflict in Ukraine peacefully, this may happen in the near future. This was announced on July 15 by US President Donald Trump in an interview with the American television channel Fox News.
"I think he (Russian President Vladimir Putin. — Ed.) I am ready to make a deal," he said.
The head of the White House suggested that a potential agreement could be concluded soon. The American leader did not disclose any other details.
On July 8, Trump already pointed out that Moscow and Kiev were determined to resolve the conflict. Then he announced that Washington had good news about what was happening. The head of the White House said that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky are broadcasting their readiness to conclude an agreement. However, as Trump explained, the situation is still difficult.
Some time later, on July 15, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Washington was ready to continue its participation in the Ukrainian settlement after it dealt with its problems with Tehran. Now, as he explained, the American side is not up to a settlement, since the situation in the Persian Gulf is not easy.
