Over the year, spare parts for Russian and Chinese cars have risen in price by 9-11%

During the year from June 2025 to June 2026, the average price of spare parts for cars of traditional Russian and Chinese brands increased by 9-11%. This was announced on July 15 by the marketing agency NAPI.

The average price of spare parts for cars of traditional Russian brands increased by 11.3% to 19.7 thousand rubles. The rear bumper (+6.5 thousand rubles), taillight (+3.1 thousand rubles), and rear wing (+12.5 thousand rubles) rose the most significantly in percentage terms.

The average price of spare parts for cars of Chinese brands increased by 8.9% to 78.1 thousand rubles. The largest percentage increase in the average price for the year was recorded for the radiator grille (+9.6 thousand rubles), the airbag (+17.3 thousand rubles), and the wheel disk (+7.8 thousand rubles).

The average cost of an insurance basket for Chinese cars is already almost four times higher than for traditional Russian brands, according to the NAPI.

Insurance ceiling: Russia will limit CTP payments

The State Duma plans to fix a limit of 400 thousand rubles in the law by the end of this session.

Evgeny Vasiliev, Director of Insurance Methodology at the Russian Union of Motor Insurers, said on July 3 that prices for car parts in the reference books used by insurers to calculate CTP repairs may be lower than market prices. This is due to the fact that the reference book takes into account non-original spare parts, which are often much cheaper than the original ones.
