The Moscow City Court will consider the defense's complaint against the arrest of businessman Ilya Traber in the case of the murder of Alexander Petrov, a deputy of the Vyborg district municipality of the Leningrad Region, in a closed mode from the press. This was reported on July 15 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

Thus, the court granted the petition of the lawyer, who asked to close the trial in connection with the attachment of documents containing medical secrets. In recent years, Traber has managed port assets in Primorsk and Ust-Luga.

The businessman was charged under paragraphs "g" and "h" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code ("Murder of two or more persons by an organized group for mercenary motives") and Part 4 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code ("Illegal arms trafficking by an organized group").
