Novosibirsk has completed the repair of the collector after a major landslide

Repair and restoration work on the collector after a major utility accident in Novosibirsk has been completed. This was announced on July 15 by the mayor Maxim Kudryavtsev in his Telegram channel.

"Workers are driving massive piles to fix the perimeter and stop further collapse of the ground," said Izvestia journalist Olga Ogneva.

Kudryavtsev added that from 07:00 local time, employees of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise "Gorvodokanal" began to gradually increase the parameters of the water supply system on the left bank of the city. The pressure in the network is gradually stabilizing, and water should be available to all consumers within a few hours.

As specified in the management company KZHEK Gorsky, the filling of the system began from the most remote areas. Water supply has already been restored in the OBGES and Krasnoobsk microdistricts, then water will be supplied to residents of the Severo-Chemsky housing estate, Zatulinka, as well as the Zapadny and Yugo-Zapadny housing estates. It is planned to fully restore the water supply by 13:00-14:00 local time.
