Ukrainian militants have mined access roads to Energodar, trying to cut off the satellite city of the station from the supply of necessary resources. Yevgenia Yashina, Director of Communications at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), told about this on July 15.

"The threat of mining access roads remains," she told RIA Novosti.

According to Yashina, the enemy's actions are aimed at making life support for the city as difficult as possible, creating a sense of blockade among residents and isolating it from normal supplies. She stressed that mining seriously complicates the movement of civilian vehicles, complicates the work of emergency services and the delivery of goods.

On July 13, Yashina said that the Nuclear power plant regarded the new attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Energodar as an extremely alarming and dangerous escalation of the situation. According to her, regular attacks create serious difficulties for the life support of the city, making it difficult to deliver food, medicine and fuel, as well as complicating the movement of people.
