Crews of 152-mm self-propelled howitzers 2S19 "Msta-S" of the Vostok group of forces destroyed shelters, firing points and supply groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on July 15.

It is specified that the enemy's targets were detected by calculations of unmanned aerial vehicles during aerial reconnaissance. The coordinates were transmitted to the gunners, who launched a series of powerful strikes on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Enemy firing points, infantry and also a supply group were hit. The first shell goes like a sighting, if it's not enough, then the second one goes away. Due to the fact that the current installations are now more accurate, <...> it takes a minimum number of shells to hit targets," said the commander of the gun with the call sign Phil.

The Russian Defense Ministry clarified that as a result of the combat work, more than five fortified positions and firing points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, several supply groups, as well as more than 20 militants were destroyed.
