The media reported explosions in Syria and the waters of Hormozgan province in Iran.
Explosions were heard in the Iranian city of Sirik and the sea area of the eastern part of the province of Hormozgan in the south of the country. This was reported by the Iranian Mehr news agency on July 15.
"Explosions are heard in the sea areas of east Hormozgan and Sirik," follows from the publication in the Telegram channel.
Presumably, they are connected with shootings and clashes in the waters of the Persian and Oman Gulfs, as well as in the Strait of Hormuz. Sirik is located at the mouth of the strait, fishing ports and telecommunication towers have been targeted in the area in recent days, the report says.
On July 13, the press service of the Central Command of the US Armed Forces (CENTCOM) announced the beginning of the third wave of attacks by the United States on Iran. It was noted that these strikes would cause significant damage to the Iranian forces and limit their ability to carry out attacks against civilians and commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
The Fars news agency reported on July 14 that several explosions had occurred in the city of Ahvaz in southwestern Iran. The Iranian Mehr news agency said the next day that air defense forces were operating near the Iranian nuclear power plant in Bushehr.
