Germany will not participate in the first military exercises of the "coalition of the willing" to be held in Poland. This was reported on July 14 by the DPA news agency, citing government sources in Berlin.

"Germany will not participate in the first military exercises of the coalition of the Willing, a group created to support Ukraine," the text on the social network X says.

Nine European countries, including the Coalition of the Willing, have agreed to create an association with Ukraine to counter ballistic missile attacks. The members of the new coalition intend to combine defense industry bases, research and experience to create a joint missile defense capability in Europe.

Euronews portal reported yesterday that French leader Emmanuel Macron will gather the leaders of the "coalition of willing" countries in Paris on July 13 to discuss further steps to support Ukraine. It was noted that at least 25 heads of state and Government would take part in the event.
