Up to 55.8 million rubles will be allocated for tourist navigation in Murmansk
In Murmansk, they announced the search for a contractor who will install tourist navigation on the streets of the city. This is reported by the Bi-port news agency with reference to the documentation of the relevant auction for the search for a performer.
Tourist navigation will be designed in the form of information structures and stands with the image of a city map and a map of the area 10 minutes away from the installation site. They will also display emergency phone numbers and other information that a tourist may need.
In total, seven wide and 27 narrow steles, 49 directional signs, eight panoramic stands and one information plate are planned to be installed in Murmansk. Before installation, the contractor must carry out engineering surveys, manufacture and supply structures.
The implementation of the project is divided into two stages, the news agency clarifies. The work is scheduled to be fully completed by December 20, 2026. The maximum value of the contract is estimated at 55.8 million rubles.
Earlier in the summer, it was reported that the Murmansk region had allocated 8.5 million rubles to organize and conduct free excursions for residents of the region. You can sign up for free excursions as part of the "Tourism for your Own" program, which started on June 10.
