Poddubny noted Russia's ability to unite in the face of challenges
On July 14, Hero of Russia, member of the General Council of United Russia Yevgeny Poddubny met with military personnel and their family members during a trip to Stavropol, where he noted Russia's ability to unite in the face of challenges.
The meeting discussed initiatives to support fighters who are being sent by residents to the new United Russia People's Program — the development of rehabilitation programs for participants in a special military operation (SVO) and educational projects, the importance of counter-propaganda and the fight against fakes, as well as issues of patriotic education of young people.
Poddubny stressed that the support of the participants of the SVR has become one of the key areas woven into all sections of the People's Program-2021. Vladimir Saibel, a veteran of the SVO, Hero of Russia, who works on the Expert Council, is responsible for its content. The new National Program will be fully focused on the realities of wartime.
"The national program is dedicated to all spheres of public life. In each of these areas, there is a block that concerns participants in a special military operation, veterans, and their family members. And these are applied, very important things that relate both to the support of veterans and the opportunity to receive support from veterans. <...> Veterans can give a lot to the country. And it has to be tied together. A large block of social issues: housing, workplace equipment for people who have lost some of their health while performing tasks in a war zone...> medicine, in general, covers all areas," he stressed.
Poddubny also spoke about the preparation of new programs for military veterans. Technological solutions are currently being developed for veterans of the special operation who are ready to take up entrepreneurship, including in the field of agriculture. They will be provided by law. As for the new programs, in addition to the presidential "Time of Heroes", a party project "Time of the Masters" will appear in the near future for those who wish to work in the manufacturing sector.
"There are very important initiatives, I am sure they will be implemented. These are personnel programs. There are not many of them now, and they are needed. And we offer the "Time of the Masters" program. This is a program that is aimed at retraining, training, and transferring competencies to front-line soldiers to work in enterprises and in enterprise management <...> These are programs that should be implemented jointly with secondary specialized educational institutions. This is aimed at ensuring that the country receives highly skilled workers, and front-line soldiers get high-paying jobs. And a job that you can be proud of," Poddubny said.
On the same day, Poddubny said that in the Russian regions, at the initiative of the United Russia party, public spaces are being created dedicated to the memory of the participants of the SVR. He also noted that in Russia, personal courage and mass heroism have become the norm, so it is necessary to fully comply with such realities of the time.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on June 28 that the SVO fighters are the true elite of Russia. According to him, the entire people of the country believe in its heroes, army and navy. The President also drew attention to the fact that many representatives of the United Russia party, who hold high positions in government and business, volunteered for the front.
