Specialists of the urban economy complex have installed more than 1.5 thousand new house and city signs in Moscow since the beginning of 2026. This was announced on July 14 by the Deputy Mayor of the capital for Housing and Communal Services and landscaping, Peter Biryukov.

According to him, the city continues to implement a program to create a unified navigation system. From January to June, 450 city and more than a thousand house signs were installed in the capital.

Biryukov noted that all navigation elements comply with a single urban standard. The blue signs with white inscriptions are easy to read and harmoniously fit into the architectural appearance of the streets.

As Biryukov explained, the signs help residents and guests of the capital to quickly find the necessary addresses, transport facilities, medical and social institutions, as well as cultural venues. So, signs appeared on Smolenskaya Square to the Coat of Arms of the city of Moscow, on Serpukhovskaya Square to the Maly Theater, and on Bolshaya Gruzinskaya Street to the Vladimir Dahl Museum and cultural and educational center. In addition, new signs have been installed to temples in the Southwestern Administrative District, the Moscow City News Agency reports.

Biryukov added that since the launch of the unified navigation system program in 2014, more than 124 thousand new signs have appeared on the streets of Moscow.
