The Active Citizen project has completed a series of votes dedicated to the Moscow. Traditions. People", the participants of which talked about the heroes of our country, outstanding residents and iconic places of the capital. This was announced by Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
"The jury selected the finalists in each of the 12 districts, and the winners were determined by Muscovites. In total, more than 1.6 million opinions were collected," Natalia Sergunina noted.
So, in the Southwestern Administrative District, Lyubov Diorditsa won with a story about her father, who participated in the creation of a titanium monument to Yuri Gagarin. In the Northern District, Nika Ladygina's work on the artists' settlement in the Sokol district was recognized as the best, and in Zelenograd, Oksana Tsybulskaya's essay on the architecture of the district and the flute house was recognized.
Other laureates dedicated stories, for example, to the Savvinsky Courtyard, the Troitskoye Estate Park, and the Ostankino television center.
The stories of the winners will be published in the Russpass magazine.
The Active Citizen project has been operating in Moscow since 2014. During this time, more than 7 million people joined it, and the number of votes held exceeded 7 thousand. Every month, according to their results, 30-40 decisions of citizens are implemented in the capital.
