Sobyanin spoke about the new school in Novo-Peredelkino

A new school has opened in the Novo-Peredelkino district of the capital, on Lukinskaya Street. The Mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, held a meeting with future students and teachers of the new educational institution. According to Sobyanin, 550 students from grades 6 to 11 will study in the new school building. The building will operate as part of school complex No. 1238. The four-storey school with a total area of 8,400 sq.m. was built according to an individual project. Inside, comfortable and comfortable rooms are organized for the effective organization of the educational process. Barrier-free environment is provided for students with disabilities. The learning space includes classrooms, a dining room with a food hall, an assembly hall for school-wide events and two gyms, including a hall with the possibility of organizing an internal space for simultaneous classes with several groups of students. In addition, the school will have a media library, a choreography studio, and an IT training ground with 3D modeling, robotics, and prototyping areas.

The construction of a new school in Novo-Peredelkino was carried out as part of a targeted investment program. According to the mayor of the capital, more than 60 new educational institutions will open their doors in Moscow next academic year.
