Train collided with passenger car on Sakhalin

A passenger train collided with a passenger car in the Sakhalin region. The driver allowed the exit on the way in front of the approaching train.

The incident occurred on July 13 at the crossing between the stations Tymovsk and Palevo. According to SakhalinMedia news agency, train No. 304 Nogliki — Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk collided with a car. It is known that the driver applied emergency braking, but the distance was insufficient to avoid a collision.

There were no casualties in the accident. The train was delayed for 25 minutes.

In the Khabarovsk Territory, on July 5, a freight train collided with a car on the Pil—Mavrinsky section. The driver left the car on the tracks due to a malfunction.
