Two highways were blocked in the Sverdlovsk region due to flooding
In the Sverdlovsk region on Tuesday, July 14, traffic was temporarily restricted on several sections of roads. The inconvenience is related to the worsening flood situation, the press service of the regional State Traffic Inspectorate reports.
So, in the Baykalovsky district, the passage along Yuzhny Lane in the village of Ust-Nitsinskoye was completely closed. The reason is the destruction of the coastal zone.
Another flooding was recorded on the 63rd km of the Artemovsky —Zaikovo highway in the Irbit district. Travel for all types of transport on this section is limited. The detour is organized along the Kamyshlov—Irbit—Turinsk—Tavda road.
Temporary road signs have been put up in problem areas and traffic police crews are on duty. Drivers were urged to plan their route in advance and be vigilant. Information about the opening of traffic will appear after the situation has stabilized.
