The State Duma called for legislating the right of large families to free parking

The provision of free parking spaces for large families should be fixed at the legislative level. This proposal was made on July 14 by Sergei Mironov, chairman of the Fair Russia party.

"The approach is correct, our faction called for such decisions. But they should be accepted not in the format of "good advice" from officials, but at the level of the law," he said in an interview with TASS.

Mironov noted that despite the recommendations, parking privileges were introduced in less than half of the subjects of the Russian Federation. In this regard, according to the parliamentarian, uniform federal benefits are needed.

On July 6, Russian Transport Minister Andrey Nikitin announced that new rules will be introduced for air travel with children and people with limited mobility from September 1.
